Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. You can learn a little more about me in the bio below. It’s all good stuff and I hope that you’ll read it, but here is what I really want you to know: I think there is power in words. And I’ve spent the last 10 years learning how to harness that power for good, to be intentional with words and to write with purpose. Through Ello Mino Pea, I hope to share some of what I’ve learned and what others have taught me in hopes that you too will find the purpose behind your writing. Loren Pritchett is a D.C. based communications professional who is dedicated to writing with purpose. Her work is inspired by nonprofits and grassroots organizations that are committed to making a difference through programs for women, children and underserved communities. Loren is a alumna of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received both a Masters in Public Administration and Bachelors in Mass Communications. You can find Loren’s work in online publications like V Magazine for Women, Richmond BizSense and The Huffington Post. She has lent her communications expertise to a host of worthy nonprofit entities including, The Danville Regional Foundation, ChildFund International, The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia and NPR, where she currently works as Donor Communications Manager. Loren is a native of Danville, Va., loves spending time with her family and owns more stationary, pens and notebooks than she could possibly use in a lifetime.
